Description:
Virtual Service Operations (VSO) is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join its dynamic and growing team. This role is ideal for a senior-level professional looking to take the next step in their career while working on impactful modernization initiatives within a fully remote environment.
In this position, you will act as a high-level technical expert on the FRIS modernization project, leading the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of new software solutions, as well as enhancing existing applications. You will work extensively with Microsoft Power Platform technologies and Azure integration tools, while collaborating closely with technical teams and mentoring junior developers. Public Trust clearance eligibility is required for certain project use cases.
Opportunity & Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design, development, testing, and deployment of modern software solutions
• Develop and enhance applications using Power Platform (model-driven apps, Dataverse, Power Automate)
• Work with Azure Integration Services including Logic Apps and Gateway integrations
• Collaborate with technical teams to define system specifications and resolve complex issues
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
• Support modernization initiatives in a secure, government-aligned environment
• Perform all responsibilities remotely while maintaining high delivery standards
Required Skills:

Requirements:
• 5–7 years of relevant professional software development experience
• Eligibility for Public Trust clearance (active clearance preferred)
• U.S. citizenship is required due to government contract obligations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
