We’re Hiring | Senior Scientist – Adhesives & Sealants
Anchor Allied Factory LLC is expanding its Research & Development division and is seeking a highly experienced Senior Scientist specializing in Adhesives & Sealants. This role is based at the UAQ manufacturing plant and is ideal for professionals with deep technical expertise in both solvent-based and water-based adhesive technologies who are passionate about innovation and product development.
Department: Research & Development
Key Responsibilities:
• Formulate, develop, and optimize solvent-based and water-based adhesive and sealant products
• Lead the development of silicone, acrylic, epoxy, and MS polymer-based systems
• Drive product innovation initiatives to improve performance, quality, and cost efficiency
• Evaluate raw materials and introduce improvements to formulations and processes
• Support scale-up activities from laboratory trials to full-scale production
• Identify and resolve technical challenges during development and manufacturing stages
• Collaborate closely with production, quality, and procurement teams to ensure smooth execution
Qualification & Experience:
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Polymer Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years’ hands-on R&D experience within solvent-based and water-based adhesives or sealants
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills
• Proven ability to manage complex development projects from concept to commercialization
