Description:
AREC Engineering Consultants is looking to hire a highly experienced Senior Resident Engineer to join its Dubai-based team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with extensive consultancy experience who can effectively oversee construction activities and ensure project excellence. Immediate joiners are strongly preferred.
The selected candidate will play a key role in managing site operations, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered in line with approved designs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements within the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise on-site construction activities and conduct regular site inspections
• Lead project execution and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors for smooth project delivery
• Review shop drawings and monitor overall site progress
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality benchmarks, and authority regulations
• Report on project status and address any technical or operational issues
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 15+ years of experience with engineering consultancy firms in Dubai
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations and authority requirements
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software
• Valid UAE driving license
• Must be currently based in Dubai
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Strong knowledge of:
• Construction supervision and project execution
• Engineering drawings, specifications, and compliance standards
• UAE authority approvals and safety regulations
