We’re Hiring Senior Quantity Surveyor

A prestigious Government Entity in Dubai is seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its esteemed Engineering & Projects Division and contribute to significant construction and development endeavors across the emirate.

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering / Construction Management

Industry: Construction | MEP | Utilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee complete quantity surveying tasks from pre-contract to post-contract phases.
  • Develop and assess tender documents, cost estimates, and bills of quantities (BOQs).
  • Lead contract administration, variations, and claims management procedures.
  • Perform detailed cost planning, forecasting, and value engineering analyses.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, identifying potential cost overruns and implementing corrective measures.
  • Prepare monthly valuations, interim payments, and final accounts.
  • Review accuracy and compliance of contractor and supplier invoices.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms (FIDIC or equivalent) and procurement protocols.
  • Offer commercial guidance to project teams and senior management.
  • Assist in dispute resolution, cost negotiations, and risk analysis reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of quantity surveying experience, preferably in large government or infrastructure projects.
  • Profound understanding of FIDIC contracts, cost control systems, and commercial management.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., CostX, Candy, Excel, AutoCAD).
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and reporting proficiencies.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
