A leading U.S. real estate technology company is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Senior Product Manager to lead accounting systems within its FinTech Product Management team. The organization operates at the intersection of real estate, finance, and technology, building scalable systems that support accounting, finance, legal, and tax operations.
This role focuses on modernizing and automating financial systems through AI-driven solutions, SaaS integrations, and advanced product development practices. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with accounting, finance, engineering, and data science teams to design and deliver high-impact financial products that improve accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
The position plays a key role in shaping the future of accounting technology systems, enabling automation in areas such as revenue recognition, audit readiness, and financial reporting workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own the product vision and roadmap for accounting systems and automation tools
• Define and execute strategies to improve financial operations and compliance workflows
• Collaborate with accounting teams on revenue recognition, journal entries, and audit processes
• Translate complex financial requirements into clear product specifications
• Drive adoption of AI and automation to improve accuracy and reduce manual work
• Evaluate and integrate financial platforms such as Workday Finance, Zuora, and Avalara
• Establish KPIs and track success metrics aligned with business goals
• Lead cross-functional alignment across engineering, data science, finance, and risk teams
• Ensure system interoperability, traceability, and regulatory compliance
• Communicate product strategy and progress to senior leadership
Requirements:
• 8+ years of product management experience in Agile environments
• Strong background in FinTech or finance systems product development
• Deep understanding of accounting processes and financial systems
• Experience working with SaaS platforms and AI/ML-enabled products
• Strong stakeholder management and prioritization skills
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills
• Experience with tools like Workday Finance, Zuora Billing/Revenue, or Avalara is a plus
• Strong knowledge of:
