Role Overview:
Allied Vision is looking for an experienced and technically strong Senior MEP Estimator to join our Dubai team. You will be responsible for producing accurate, competitive cost estimates for Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing packages on medium to large projects across the UAE. This role demands precision, commercial awareness and the ability to turn drawings and specifications into reliable bids.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in MEP estimation within the UAE market.
- In-depth knowledge of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire fighting), materials and BOQ preparation.
- Proven experience in tendering, cost analysis and value engineering.
- Proficiency with estimation and drawing tools such as Candy, AutoCAD, MS Excel, Bluebeam, or similar.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and scope documents accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight submission deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for MEP scopes including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire fighting systems.
- Review and analyse project drawings, specifications and client requirements to build accurate bill of quantities and takeoffs.
- Coordinate closely with procurement, engineering and project teams to validate assumptions and pricing.
- Compile and submit competitive, well-documented tender packages and support post-submission clarifications.
- Contribute to risk assessments and cost-control strategies to enhance bid competitiveness and profitability.
- Support value engineering exercises and suggest cost-effective alternatives where applicable.
