Description:

A leading government entity in Dubai is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Manager – Statistics to oversee and lead trade data operations across Dubai Ports. This is a critical leadership role focused on enhancing data-driven decision-making and supporting the emirate’s economic development objectives.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the collection, classification, and analysis of import and export statistics while ensuring alignment with international best practices and global standards. The role requires strong analytical capability and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the collection, classification, and analysis of trade statistics for import and export data

• Develop and implement international best practices in statistical operations and reporting

• Manage and develop a high-performing statistics and data analysis team

• Oversee data accuracy, validation, and quality assurance processes

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including customs and port authorities

Requirements:

• UAE National (Emirati) – Mandatory

• 10–12 years of relevant professional experience

• Minimum 5 years in a managerial or leadership role

• Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills
