A leading architectural consultancy in Dubai is seeking a Senior / Lead 3D Technical Design Specialist to join its technical design team. This role is ideal for experienced architectural professionals with advanced computational design expertise and a strong background in developing complex architectural geometries from concept through detailed design.
The successful candidate will work on technically challenging architectural projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative design solutions using advanced 3D modeling, BIM, façade design, and computational design tools. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to landmark architectural developments within the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and refinement of complex architectural geometries from concept through detailed design.
• Create, test, and optimize computational design solutions for architectural projects.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project teams throughout the design process.
• Develop accurate 3D models and technical documentation using industry-standard software.
• Support façade technical design and detailed architectural modeling.
• Ensure design accuracy, quality, and compliance with project requirements.
• Assist in resolving complex technical design challenges throughout project delivery.
• Contribute to innovation by utilizing advanced computational and AI-assisted design technologies.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven senior-level experience in technical architectural design and computational design.
• Strong experience delivering complex architectural geometries from concept through detailed design.
• Hands-on expertise with Rhino 3D and Grasshopper.
• Experience using Revit, BIM workflows, and façade technical design tools.
• Knowledge of modern 3D visualization and AI-assisted design technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary design teams.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Rhino 3D, Grasshopper, and Revit/BIM.
• Computational design and façade technical design.
• Advanced 3D modeling, architectural detailing, and AI-powered design tools.
