As ClassDojo continues to expand beyond communication into world-class learning experiences, they are seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer to help scale and evolve their platform. In this role, you will work on production systems from day one, collaborate closely with a highly talented global team, and ship meaningful features that impact millions of users daily.

What You Will Do:
• Build and ship new features and improvements for web applications, APIs, databases, and infrastructure
• Write, debug, and optimize high-quality code with automated tests and monitoring
• Deliver updates to production frequently through incremental releases
• Collaborate through pair programming, mob programming, code reviews, and design discussions
Technical & Cross-Team Contributions:
• Improve shared systems, tools, and engineering practices across teams
• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines and delivery processes
• Participate in technical design and architectural decision-making
Team & Culture Responsibilities:
• Help unblock teammates and mentor engineers toward senior growth
• Break down complex work into incremental, user-focused deliverables
• Improve product quality, engineering processes, and collaboration
• Foster a psychologically safe, inclusive, and high-performing engineering culture
• Maintain awareness of broader business goals and cross-team initiatives
You Are a Strong Match If You Have:
• 8–10+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience working across startups and large-scale technology companies
• A strong track record of delivering meaningful user and business outcomes
• Experience improving engineering processes, CI/CD, test automation, or DevOps practices
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• An ownership mindset with comfort in responsibility and accountability
• Passion for education and creating impact at a global scale
• Availability to work with significant overlap in Americas time zones
Bonus Experience:
• Building applications at scale using Node.js and/or React
• Working with databases such as MongoDB or MySQL
• Hands-on DevOps experience, particularly with AWS
