Description:
EZ Texting, a leading text message marketing platform for small and medium-sized businesses, is seeking a talented Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team. As a Sr. Frontend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and developing the core services of our platform, contributing directly to the value delivered to our customers. This is an opportunity to work in a cross-functional Agile Squad, collaborating with stakeholders to find optimal solutions for complex technical challenges. Your expertise will influence technology decisions, improve processes, and help maintain high software quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Agile Squad members to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality web products using Angular
- Design and enhance product features while gaining expertise in the technology and business domain
- Maintain long-term maintainability of source code and production applications through code reviews, unit tests, and documentation
- Support Product Managers and non-technical stakeholders in making informed decisions at the intersection of technology, customer experience, and business value
- Establish and uphold software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices within the team
Requirements:
- 5+ years of frontend development experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as Angular or React.js
- 5+ years experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS
- 4+ years consuming REST/JSON APIs
- 2+ years implementing unit tests and working with build tools/continuous integration pipelines
- Solid understanding of OOP, functional programming, SOLID principles, and web security best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to engineering excellence
- Optional: experience with languages other than JavaScript/TypeScript
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary depending on location and experience:
- Tier 1 (Bay Area, NYC, SEA): $144,263.70 – $198,009
- Tier 2 (LA, SD, BOS, ATX, DC, PHI): $137,851.98 – $182,168.28
- Tier 3 (DAL, ATL, HOU, NSH, MIA, ALB): $128,234.40 – $174,247.92
- Tier 4 (Other locations): $112,205.10 – $158,407.20
