Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing high-performance, visually appealing web applications and should be proficient in both front-end and full stack development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop front-end website architecture, translating designer mock-ups and wireframes into functional code
- Build functional database applications and back-end services to support websites
- Develop and design RESTful services and APIs
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in web applications and programming languages
- Ensure non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are incorporated into solutions
- Continuously update job knowledge through studying new tools, programming techniques, professional publications, and participating in professional networks and organizations
- Comply with organizational policies and procedures related to QHSE, Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management, and Governance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and basic algorithms
- 7+ years of experience coding in Javascript/TypeScript
- 5+ years of experience building single page applications using React
- Minimum 3 years of experience in full stack web development
- Strong understanding of state management in front-end applications, with production experience in Redux or Zustand
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Solid understanding of programming principles
- Experience integrating and applying LLM services is a plus
