Description:
Hills & Fort Construction is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Estimation Engineer to become part of its growing team in Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in construction estimation, tender preparation, and infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing competitive cost estimates, reviewing project documentation, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, and supporting bid submissions. The position requires strong analytical skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to contribute to cost-effective project planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submission documents.
• Review engineering drawings, bills of quantities (BOQs), and technical specifications.
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs and rate analysis for project estimates.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal project teams during the bidding process.
• Assist in bid preparation and support cost optimization initiatives.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• Proven experience in estimation and tendering for infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project costing.
• Proficiency in Estimation software, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Construction estimation and tendering procedures.
• Quantity take-offs and cost analysis.
• Candy CCS software (preferred).
