Description:
Carrington Holding Company, LLC is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our remote team in the United States. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise data solutions, ETL systems, and business intelligence applications to support our diverse real estate and mortgage operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and optimize data integration processes, ETL workflows, and data platforms with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance
• Collaborate with stakeholders and third-party vendors to define and align business requirements for data integration and reporting solutions
• Lead development of automated solutions to enhance business processes, productivity, and operational efficiency
• Maintain ETL jobs and provide troubleshooting support for critical production issues, including participation in off-hours support rotation
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes, reports, applications, and procedures
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable reporting and dashboard solutions for business intelligence, data visualization, and operational insights
• Contribute to future cloud migration efforts and optimization of data integration and transformation processes
Required Skills & Experience:
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL programming, and database optimization
• Strong ETL expertise with Microsoft SSIS
• Familiarity with version control and collaborative development using Microsoft DevOps
• Ability to lead SDLC processes and oversee complex data projects
• Experience with APIs and Microsoft BI applications (SSRS, SSAS, Power BI) preferred
• Knowledge of cloud-based database services such as Azure Data Factory, Fabric, Snowflake, or Databricks is a plus
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience & Education:
• 4+ years in IT with focus on relational databases, ETL, data warehousing, business intelligence, reports, and dashboard design
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science preferred
