The Senior Data Analyst will work closely with engineering and product teams to address critical data issues, design technical solutions, and support strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Trace and troubleshoot issues through data pipelines or code to identify root causes
- Write clear Jira tickets documenting findings, resolutions, and preventive measures
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to improve data reliability and system efficiency
- Foster a culture of technical curiosity, testing assumptions, and continuously improving processes
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, development, and delivery
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong curiosity about systems, code, and data workflows
- Advanced SQL skills and familiarity with Python
- Experience analyzing JSON, logs, and API outputs to validate data flows
- Ability to read and understand others’ code to optimize performance
- Analytical mindset to transform ambiguous problems into actionable solutions
- Experience generating data-driven insights to improve user experience and conversions
- Comfort using AI tools to accelerate work and decision-making
Hiring & Compensation:
- $300/day for the 2-day paid interview assignment
- $80/hr during the 180-day contract or probationary period
- Paid interview may lead to full-time employment based on performance
