Description:

A well-established FMCG/manufacturing company in Dubai is looking for an experienced Senior Cost Accountant to join its finance team. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in managing product costing, inventory valuation, financial reporting, and cost analysis.

This position is ideal for finance professionals with strong analytical skills and hands-on experience in manufacturing cost accounting. Candidates who can identify cost-saving opportunities, maintain accurate ERP data, and support financial reporting processes are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain product costing, Bills of Materials (BOM), and standard costing.

• Monitor raw material, labor, and overhead costs while analyzing cost variances.

• Perform inventory valuation, stock reconciliations, and physical inventory audits.

• Prepare monthly cost reports, profitability analysis, and margin reports.

• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.

• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and Sales teams to ensure accurate costing.

• Monitor manufacturing wastage, production yield, and identify opportunities for cost optimization.

• Maintain costing accuracy within the ERP system and update master data as required.

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with IFRS and UAE VAT regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.

• 4–5 years of experience as a Cost Accountant within the FMCG or manufacturing sector.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience working with Zoho ERP or other ERP systems.

• Female candidates are preferred.

• Immediate joiners will be given preference.

Strong knowledge of:

• Standard costing, Bills of Materials (BOM), inventory valuation, and variance analysis

• ERP systems, accounting automation, and AI tools

• IFRS, UAE VAT requirements, budgeting, and financial reporting
