About The Role
As a Senior Claims Analyst, you will manage claim initiatives and ensure insurance programs align with business objectives. Your responsibilities include assessing and mitigating risks, optimizing the insurance portfolio, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive compliance and resilience. This is a remote-friendly role within the U.S., preferably near a DoorDash hub office, reporting to the Senior Manager, Claims Management.

  • Enhance Organizational Resilience – Implement QA frameworks, conduct claim audits, and perform operational assessments to improve quality, compliance, and efficiency. Analyze claims data and KPIs to generate insights and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Make a Real Impact – Support and influence DoorDash’s claims strategy by aligning initiatives with business priorities and risk objectives.
  • Tackle Complex Challenges – Lead initiatives to reduce claim costs, improve outcomes, and enhance experiences for customers, Dashers, and merchants.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement – Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership to shape policies, processes, and partnerships impacting the commercial auto portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Experts – Partner with Legal, FNOL, Actuarial, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure alignment of claims initiatives with business strategy. Build strong relationships with external insurance partners for best-in-class claim handling.
  • Shape Claim Strategy – Advocate internally for claims-related priorities and ensure stakeholders have actionable insights for informed decisions.

  • Education & Certifications – Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields; ARM or CPCU certifications preferred.
  • Experience – 5+ years in claims management, risk strategy, insurance consulting, or related fields. Proven ability to influence claims strategy and drive results.
  • Industry Knowledge – Strong understanding of claims processes, litigation prevention, SIU practices, and insurance program structures. Experience collaborating with legal, actuarial, engineering, and operations teams.
  • Analytical Skills – Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, capable of turning complex data into actionable insights.
  • Communication & Influence – Strong relationship management and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders. Passion for operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Compensation
Base salary is determined by skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. This role includes opportunities for equity grants.
