Al Naboodah Construction Group, one of the most recognized civil engineering contractors in the UAE, is currently looking to recruit experienced professionals for the roles of Senior Civil Estimator and Civil Estimator in Dubai. These positions are ideal for candidates with a strong background in cost estimation and commercial planning within large-scale infrastructure and industrial construction projects.
The selected candidates will be responsible for supporting the company’s tendering activities by preparing accurate project cost estimates, reviewing technical documentation, and ensuring that project bids are both competitive and commercially viable. This role plays a critical part in the early stages of project development, helping the organization secure new infrastructure and mixed-use construction contracts.
As part of the estimation team, you will work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that all cost elements are evaluated carefully and that project scopes are aligned with tender requirements. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and expertise in construction estimation software.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing comprehensive first-principles cost estimates for infrastructure and mixed-use projects using CCS Candy software
- Reviewing construction drawings, BOQs, and project specifications to ensure full scope alignment and accurate costing
- Performing precise quantity take-offs and preparing detailed cost build-ups for competitive tender submissions
- Evaluating quotations received from subcontractors and suppliers through detailed commercial comparisons
- Identifying potential project risks and implementing value engineering strategies to optimize project costs
- Conducting site visits to assess logistical challenges and evaluate their impact on project budgets and timelines
The ideal candidates should possess 5–12 years of professional experience in civil or construction cost estimation, particularly within the UAE or Middle East construction market. Hands-on experience working on infrastructure, industrial developments, or large mixed-use construction projects will be highly beneficial.
Strong technical knowledge of CCS Candy estimation software is mandatory, along with advanced understanding of Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and construction tendering procedures. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical thinking, precision in cost calculations, and the ability to develop competitive bids that align with project requirements and commercial strategies.
