Description:
Centene is seeking a Senior Business Technical Analyst to provide advanced technical support and deep business knowledge across multiple departments. This role will involve analyzing processes, designing and programming complex applications, and acting as a subject matter expert for business systems to optimize resources and improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop ad-hoc reports for data analysis and validation
- Analyze operational procedures, identify problems, and recommend improvements
- Conduct business analysis and propose technical solutions aligned with organizational goals
- Evaluate the financial impact of issues identified in data and processes
- Automate processing or enhance existing business systems
- Create robust multiuser database solutions
- Provide expertise in requirements gathering, system analysis, technical design, programming, and documentation
- Monitor departmental projects, identify potential obstacles, and implement mitigation strategies
- Resolve complex issues to optimize performance and ensure timely follow-up
- Guide and train staff on processes, procedures, and issue resolution
- Perform other duties as assigned while complying with all policies and standards
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years programming experience with SAS, SQL, VB.NET, Oracle, or similar tools
- 3+ years experience in business analysis
- Strong ability to conduct system analysis, develop project plans, and coordinate between departments
- Preferred experience in ASP/ASP.NET and SAS certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
- 1+ year experience in healthcare-related technical or analytical roles
