Description:
HarperCollins Publishers is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to lead change initiatives and support daily Warehouse Management System (WMS) operations within a fully integrated warehouse environment. This role requires identifying improvement opportunities, recommending effective solutions, and leading cross-functional teams throughout the change management lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business, operations, and technical teams to define and document new projects or change requests
  • Translate design requirements into system proposals or enhancements and communicate them to internal teams and third-party providers
  • Document business requirements and system specifications, define deliverables, target dates, and resources required
  • Estimate timelines, resources, and budgets; manage business analysts and third-party providers; provide status updates and highlight risks
  • Configure WMS applications to meet business requirements and recommend business changes supported by system functionality
  • Work closely with ERP solutions, QA, and third-party teams to develop, test, and implement system enhancements and bug fixes
  • Document, track, and resolve production issues, performing root cause analysis and recommending fixes
  • Document impacted processes, train business analysts, and suggest improvements for accuracy or efficiency

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5+ years’ experience with top warehouse and labor management systems integrated with ERP, client, and carrier systems, WCS, Goods-to-Person automation, packaging automation, mobile devices, and inline label printing
  • Strong knowledge of inventory, work orders, order scheduling, yard management, shipping, parcel manifesting, third-party logistics, and short-run printing
  • Proficiency in cloud environments, APIs, ZPL; JDE, JIRA, and Confluence skills are a plus
  • Ability to lead multiple projects and initiatives independently, mitigating conflicts and risks
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
