Description:
Senior Accountant – Fire Alarm & Fire Fighting Trading Company
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle full cycle accounting including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliation.
- Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow reports.
- Monitor inventory and stock movement of fire alarm and fire fighting materials.
- Manage supplier payments, customer invoicing, and collections.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and management for financial matters.
- Prepare and file VAT returns as per UAE Federal Tax Authority requirements.
- Analyze financial data to assist in decision-making and cost control.
- Supervise junior accounting staff and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions and import/export records.
Requirements:
- 5–8 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a trading company (Fire Alarm / Fire Fighting industry preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / QuickBooks / Zoho Books or similar accounting software.
- Good understanding of UAE VAT laws, LC documentation, and import/export accounting.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
