Description:
A client in Sharjah is looking to hire an experienced Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This opportunity is ideal for accounting professionals with solid UAE experience who can effectively manage financial records, reporting, and day-to-day accounting operations.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Applicants must currently be based in the UAE, and candidates who are available to join immediately will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and oversee daily accounting activities.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and reconciliations in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company financial policies.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Support audits and provide financial documentation when required.
• Monitor financial transactions and help improve accounting procedures.
Requirements:
• B Com or M Com qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Must be currently based in the United Arab Emirates.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.
• Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of:
