Now Hiring: Senior Accountant – Healthcare

Role Description:
Responsible for daily accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and maintaining accurate records. Key tasks include analyzing financial statements, overseeing payroll, billing, tax processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and developing accounting policies. Supports management with financial insights and works cross-functionally to align with business goals.

Qualifications:
• Proficient in GL, AP/AR, Payroll, and Financial Reporting
• Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting, VAT regulations, billing systems, and insurance frameworks
• Experienced in audits, statutory reporting, and internal controls
• Up to date with accounting principles and standards
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines
• Leadership and team mentoring skills

Responsibilities:
• Manage full accounting cycle incl. GL, month-end, and year-end closing
• Prepare and analyze P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow in line with UAE regulations and IFRS/GAAP
• Oversee billing, insurance claims, and reconciliations
• Lead VAT filings and ensure compliance with UAE tax laws
• Perform variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Supervise AP/AR processes and ensure timely transactions
• Coordinate with auditors for internal/external audits
• Maintain strong internal controls and improve workflows
• Reconcile bank transactions and vendor statements
• Provide accurate, data-driven financial insights to executive leadership
• Support junior finance staff development

Technical Skills:
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite
• Advanced in QuickBooks, ERP systems, and MS Excel
• Familiarity with reporting tools like Looker, Tableau, or equivalent is advantageous
