Description:

A reputable organization in Dubai is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting to join its finance team. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with extensive UAE accounting experience who can oversee financial reporting, taxation, reconciliations, and compliance while supporting the company’s financial operations.

The successful candidate will manage accounts payable and receivable, prepare financial statements, budgets, and cash flow reports, and ensure timely submission of VAT and Corporate Tax filings. The role also involves working closely with auditors, handling payroll and banking activities, and maintaining compliance with statutory and financial regulations.

This position is open to immediate joiners who possess strong analytical skills, relevant professional qualifications, and experience within the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Develop Profit & Loss statements, budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow reports.

• Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, vendors, inventory, cost of goods sold (COGS), and general ledger accounts.

• Prepare and submit UAE VAT and Corporate Tax returns in compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Oversee payroll processing, fixed asset management, and depreciation schedules.

• Coordinate with insurance companies regarding receivables and monthly rebate settlements.

• Liaise with external auditors and support statutory audit requirements.

• Handle online banking activities and process weekly payments accurately and on time.

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Finance.

• CA (Semi-Qualified) or CMA (Qualified).

• 4–6 years of UAE experience in a similar accounting role.

• Previous experience in the automotive industry is preferred.

• Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.

• Must be available to join immediately.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Financial reporting and general ledger reconciliation.

• UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and statutory compliance.

• Budgeting, forecasting, payroll, and financial analysis.
