Description:

Procat is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant – Finance & Compliance to join its finance team. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with strong expertise in financial management, regulatory compliance, taxation, and reporting within the UAE business environment.

The successful candidate will oversee key financial operations, support strategic initiatives, coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities, and contribute to process improvements. The position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while playing a critical role in maintaining financial accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting operations and financial reporting across group entities.

• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Maintain compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and statutory requirements.

• Prepare management reports, budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.

• Support the Head of Finance with strategic financial initiatives.

• Act as the primary point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.

• Oversee payroll, accounts receivable, collections, and credit control functions.

• Support ERP implementation projects and continuous financial process improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA Inter preferred).

• 5–8 years of core accounting and finance experience within the UAE.

• Strong practical knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and IFRS.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience working with modern financial and ERP systems.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Financial reporting and accounting operations.

• UAE taxation and regulatory compliance.

• Budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

• Audit coordination and financial controls.
