Description:
Worood is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Al Garhoud, Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong financial management skills and experience handling the complete accounting cycle within a dynamic business environment.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in financial reporting, VAT compliance, reconciliations, payroll, and ERP systems. Candidates with experience in the Interior Fit-Out or Retail industry and those who are available for immediate joining will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the complete accounting cycle and ensure accurate financial records.
• Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and management accounts.
• Handle VAT compliance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll activities.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Maintain and update financial data using ERP systems.
• Manage online portals and financial documentation.
• Support process improvements and ensure compliance with company financial policies.
Requirements:
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience managing the full accounting cycle.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Experience in the Interior Fit-Out or Retail industry is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience managing online portals.
• Sound knowledge of financial reporting, VAT, reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and closing activities.
• Immediate joiners will be given preference.
