Description:
A well-established organization in Dubai is currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong expertise in accounting practices, financial reporting, and compliance within the UAE market.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and maintaining compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial record-keeping
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and reconciliations in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies
• Utilize ERP and accounting software to manage financial data efficiently
• Perform advanced data analysis using Excel to support financial decision-making
• Monitor and improve internal financial controls and processes
• Collaborate with internal teams and auditors when required
Requirements:
• Minimum 10+ years of accounting experience, with mandatory UAE exposure
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA is highly preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
