We are thrilled to be collaborating with one of our valued clients to recruit a highly skilled Senior Accountant. This role is ideal for an experienced professional ready to take full responsibility for financial operations while contributing to ongoing process improvements within a fast-paced, forward-thinking organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy in reconciliations for both fiat and crypto accounts.
- Maintain detailed records, internal controls, and audit-ready documentation to support management reporting.
- Work closely with external auditors to ensure strict adherence to IFRS and GAAP standards.
- Manage cash flow, authorize payments, and ensure daily financial processes run smoothly.
- Develop, enhance, and implement accounting policies and systems with a focus on automation and efficiency.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows.
- Handle complex reconciliations, financial consolidations, and support integration projects.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience in multinational or fast-paced environments.
- Recognized accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
- In-depth understanding of IFRS/GAAP frameworks and best practices in accounting.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit coordination.
- Practical knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax compliance.
- Experience managing financials across multiple jurisdictions.
- Proficiency with accounting systems such as Xero, SAP, or Oracle, and advanced Excel capabilities.
