We’re Hiring – Senior Accountant | Dubai Office
A leading global company in the technical plastics sector is seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join its newly established Dubai office. This role offers a unique opportunity to build the financial systems and structure accounting operations from the ground up, while collaborating closely with European and regional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
📊 Establish and organize all accounting operations for UAE entities, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger management, reconciliations, and reporting.
🧾 Process invoicing and prepare accurate financial data for European business units in a timely manner.
🤝 Collaborate remotely with European accountants to ensure compliance and smooth daily financial operations.
📑 Support audits, budgeting, and financial forecasting for both UAE and European operations.
⚙️ Develop and implement accounting workflows, policies, and office procedures.
💵 Handle payroll, VAT filing, and ensure full compliance with UAE laws.
👥 Assist in recruiting, training, and leading future finance team members in Dubai.
Qualifications:
🎓 Minimum 5 years of practical accounting experience, especially in international or multi-entity contexts.
🏗️ Demonstrated ability to independently set up or structure office and accounting functions.
📈 Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
💻 Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; ERP experience (Navision is a plus).
🌐 Effective English communication skills; knowledge of other languages is advantageous.
✅ Familiarity with UAE accounting standards and regulations is preferred.

💰 Salary: AED 7,000 – 8,000 per month
