Job Title: Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and reports
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations
• Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
• Maintain compliance with UAE tax laws (VAT) and relevant financial regulations
• Support internal audits
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Lead process improvement initiatives within the finance department
• Assist in inventory accounting and cost control for retail and F&B operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including retail, operations, and HR

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA, ACCA, or CMA certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT laws and local financial regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, or ERP systems)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
