Description:
A leading organization in Dubai is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with strong treasury and financial management expertise, preferably within the Oil & Gas sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily treasury and accounting operations, supporting financial reporting, ensuring compliance with VAT and Corporate Tax regulations, and assisting with audit activities. This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day treasury and accounting operations.
• Process supplier payments and other financial transactions accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with banks regarding payment processing and banking activities.
• Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure efficient financial processes.
• Assist with VAT and Corporate Tax filings.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and required documentation.
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements and other management reports.
• Monitor cash flow and maintain treasury records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable financial regulations.
• Perform additional finance-related duties as assigned by the CFO.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• ACCA, CA, CPA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the UAE, including at least 2 years in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of treasury operations, accounting principles, VAT, and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
