Description:
A growing multi-branch trading business in Dubai is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage and monitor accounting operations across its branches. The ideal candidate should have strong ERP experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to review financial activities while supporting branch accounting teams.
The successful candidate will oversee accounting entries, ensure financial accuracy, prepare management reports, and maintain compliance with company accounting procedures. Experience in trading, import/export, or multi-branch operations will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review daily accounting entries submitted by all branches.
• Supervise and provide support to branch accountants and data entry operators.
• Verify cash books, bank reconciliations, sales, purchases, expenses, and inventory records.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for management review.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely corrections.
• Monitor stock movement and maintain financial accuracy across branches.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures and policies.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong experience with ERP software; Odoo experience preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP Business One, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in trading, import/export, or multi-branch businesses preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good English communication skills.
