Description:
Cultivate UAE is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Finance Head while supporting key financial operations and ensuring the accuracy of the company’s accounting and reporting processes.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in month-end closing, financial reporting, reconciliations, taxation support, audit coordination, and payroll-related activities. This position is ideal for a finance professional with strong technical accounting skills and experience working within the UAE regulatory environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and management reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain financial accuracy.
• Monitor and manage accounts receivable ageing reports.
• Prepare VAT and Corporate Tax schedules in compliance with UAE regulations.
• Provide support during statutory audits and maintain audit documentation.
• Process WPS payroll activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain financial records using Zoho Books or similar accounting systems.
• Work closely with the Finance Head to support day-to-day finance operations.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 6 years of professional accounting experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Practical experience using Zoho Books or similar accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and statutory audit processes.
• Solid understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• ACCA or CPA progression is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Financial reporting and month-end close procedures.
• Zoho Books or similar accounting systems.
• UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and statutory audit requirements.
