Description:
MBK Security Services LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who can oversee financial operations, maintain accurate records, and support the company’s overall financial performance.
The successful candidate will manage daily accounting activities, prepare financial reports, monitor cash flow, and ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and VAT regulations. Previous experience within the Security Services, Manpower, or Facilities Management industry will be considered a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily accounting operations and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Prepare, review, and maintain journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable while ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Monitor customer invoices, supplier invoices, payment schedules, and outstanding balances.
• Support payroll accounting, employee-related expenses, and manpower cost analysis.
• Perform monthly closing activities and prepare management reports.
• Track company expenses, budgets, cash flow, and implement effective cost control measures.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Human Resources, Operations, and other departments on financial matters.
• Maintain proper financial documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Assist with audits, VAT requirements, and other regulatory compliance activities.
• Analyze financial information and provide accurate reports to support management decision-making.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar accounting role.
• Previous experience in a Security Services company is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of UAE accounting practices and VAT regulations.
• Experience using accounting or ERP software; Odoo knowledge is an advantage.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle confidential financial information.
• UAE work experience is preferred.
Strong knowledge of:
• UAE accounting standards and VAT compliance.
• ERP systems, including Odoo.
• Financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
