Description:
A well-established organization in Abu Dhabi is currently looking to hire a highly experienced and detail-focused Senior Accountant to join their expanding finance team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical accounting knowledge along with hands-on experience in UAE financial regulations and healthcare sector exposure (preferred).
This role demands a professional who can manage full-cycle accounting operations, ensure compliance with local regulations, and support accurate financial reporting in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage complete end-to-end accounting functions including journal entries and ledger maintenance
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) processes
• Perform regular bank and account reconciliations with accuracy
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and month-end closing activities
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and support audit requirements
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audit processes
• Maintain and manage ERP system entries and financial data integrity
• Use advanced MS Excel skills for reporting, analysis, and financial tracking
• Support management with financial insights and analytical reports
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of UAE accounting experience is mandatory
• Healthcare industry experience will be considered an advantage
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT laws and compliance procedures
• Hands-on experience in ERP systems and advanced Excel functions
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities
• Ability to work independently and handle tight deadlines
