Description:
7i Holding, a UAE-based holding group involved in regulated, government-linked, and security-sensitive sectors, is currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Abu Dhabi. The company is looking for a finance professional with strong accounting expertise who can oversee financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and maintain full compliance with regulatory standards.

This position is considered urgent, and priority will be given to candidates who are available for immediate joining and have relevant UAE or GCC experience. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in financial planning, project costing, cost control, and profitability analysis, particularly within services, trading, or manufacturing industries.

The selected candidate will play a vital role in managing financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the company’s financial strategy through detailed analysis and accurate forecasting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing the annual budget in collaboration with the Group Finance Manager and department leaders
  • Gathering and analyzing financial data from multiple departments to produce accurate monthly profit and loss projections and forecasts
  • Developing and maintaining financial models, analytical reports, and management dashboards
  • Implementing and monitoring accounting policies, procedures, and internal financial controls
  • Tracking and forecasting cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for business operations
  • Preparing treasury reports and arranging fund transfers when necessary
  • Reviewing and processing monthly payroll through the WPS system while coordinating with the HR department
  • Ensuring accuracy and consistency of financial data within the HRMS system
  • Coordinating with external auditors and regulatory authorities, including the UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA)
  • Preparing and finalizing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS standards and UAE financial regulations

Mandatory requirements for this role include:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce
  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years of professional accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a Senior Accountant or equivalent role in the UAE
  • A recognized professional certification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, CIA, or CFA
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
  • Solid expertise in accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial management
  • Experience with cash flow planning, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Thorough understanding of IFRS standards and UAE regulatory requirements

Candidates should either be currently based in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate to the city for this position.
