Description:
Title: Senior Accountant — UAE-based finance professional to manage accounting operations and ensure compliance.
Location: Abu Dhabi — on-site or as specified by the employer.
Qualification & Accreditation: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree and a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA or CA).
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years’ accounting experience within the UAE market, with hands-on exposure to local accounting practices.
Core Knowledge & Skills:
- UAE VAT: Practical knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, VAT filing processes and ability to support VAT audits.
- Accounting Operations: Month-end close, reconciliations, ledger maintenance, preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Systems & Reporting: Experience with accounting software and strong Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
- Communication: Proficient in both Arabic and English for day-to-day reporting and stakeholder coordination.
Advantages / Preferred: - Real Estate Accounting: Prior experience in real estate or property-related accounting will be considered a strong plus.

Responsibilities (typical):
- Prepare and review month-end and year-end financial statements.
