Elsewedy Industries is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Abu Dhabi. This position is ideal for professionals with strong accounting knowledge and a solid understanding of UAE financial regulations who are eager to take on greater responsibility within a leading industrial company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and timely.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and other local financial regulations.
- Support financial audits by coordinating with auditors and preparing necessary documentation.
- Utilize ERP systems effectively to manage accounting processes and generate detailed reports.
- Contribute to the improvement of internal controls and financial efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least 5 years of accounting experience within the UAE.
- Strong understanding of UAE VAT, accounting principles, and reporting standards.
- Proficiency in ERP software and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
