Al Salam School is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to teach Arabic and Islamic Education for a maternity cover position. The ideal candidate will be passionate about inclusive education and committed to supporting students with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Arabic and Islamic Education lessons tailored to students with special educational needs.
- Implement differentiated instructional strategies to support individual learning styles.
- Monitor and report on student progress, adapting plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure holistic support for students.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in special education or a related field.
- Relevant teaching qualification or license.
- Proficiency in Arabic (native or fluent).
- Experience in teaching Islamic Education.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a school environment, preferably with special needs students.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Desirable:
- Experience in the UAE or a similar context.
- Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices aligned with UAE education standards.
