Description:
Al Nahda National Schools is currently inviting applications for the position of SEN Coordinator for the academic year 2025–2026. The school is looking for a dedicated and experienced professional who is passionate about supporting students with special educational needs and enhancing inclusive learning environments. The ideal candidate should be ready to join immediately and contribute effectively to student development and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and coordinate the implementation of Special Educational Needs (SEN) programs across the school
• Identify students requiring additional support and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and school leadership to ensure appropriate support strategies are in place
• Monitor student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed
• Ensure compliance with local educational regulations and inclusion policies
• Provide guidance and training to teaching staff on SEN best practices
• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to SEN students
Requirements:
• Attested Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related subject
• Diploma in Education or a valid/active teaching license
• Degree equivalency certificate as per UAE regulations
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in American or British curriculum schools
• IELTS score of 7 is mandatory
• UAE experience with ADEK, KHDA, or SPEA approval is an advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to relocate and work in Abu Dhabi, UAE
