Description:
We are seeking a skilled Security Resident Engineer (Data Security Specialist) to join our team in Abu Dhabi for an onsite role. This position is ideal for someone who has significant hands-on experience securing sensitive information and working with advanced data protection tools and governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, update, and enforce data security standards, procedures, and internal policies
- Perform data discovery activities, maintain inventories, and classify sensitive information
- Oversee and optimize DLP solutions across endpoints, networks, cloud environments, and email systems
- Operate DSPM tools and support remediation efforts for identified risks
- Configure and manage Digital Rights Management (DRM) platforms
- Support incident response workflows and ensure secure data handling practices
Experience Required:
- Over 5 years of experience in Data Security, Cybersecurity, or Information Protection
- Strong practical knowledge of DLP, DSPM, DRM, and data classification technologies
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, along with a solid understanding of Zero Trust security frameworks
Preferred Tools:
MS Purview, Varonis, Symantec DLP, BigID, Forcepoint, Netskope, OneTrust
Preferred Certifications:
AZ-500, CCSP, CIPT, CDPSE, CEH
