Role Overview
We are urgently seeking a committed and experienced School Principal (male or female) for an established British curriculum school in Dubai. The successful candidate will take immediate responsibility for the academic leadership and operational management of the school, driving improvement in teaching standards and student outcomes while ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for curriculum delivery, assessment and academic standards aligned with the British curriculum.
- Lead, motivate and manage teaching and support staff; oversee recruitment, appraisal and professional development.
- Ensure high standards of safeguarding, child protection, health & safety and compliance with local regulatory requirements.
- Manage day-to-day school operations including timetables, admissions coordination, and liaison with administrative teams.
- Foster positive relationships with parents, the wider school community and external stakeholders.
- Set school improvement priorities, monitor progress against targets and report on student achievement and attainment.
- Promote an inclusive, supportive school culture that inspires both staff and students.
Requirements / Candidate Profile
- Education: Master’s Degree or higher in Education, Educational Leadership, or a closely related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a school leadership role (e.g., Principal, Headteacher, Vice-Principal) — ideally within a British curriculum environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire and develop staff and students.
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- Strong commitment to student welfare, continuous improvement and professional standards.
