Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain provider schedules that balance patient need with provider availability.
  • Proactively manage census using risk-tiering and inactivation processes to prioritize visits.
  • Coordinate with market leaders, Lead Scheduler, medical assistants, and patient care coordinators to optimize scheduling workflows.
  • Take and place calls to patients and families to confirm or reschedule appointments and communicate HarmonyCares services.
  • Escalate and resolve scheduling-related issues with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Attend required meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support patient access and continuity of care.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years college or equivalent experience plus at least 2 years in healthcare or customer service.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Able to respond quickly to real-time operational issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Intermediate computer proficiency with a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Scheduling or logistics experience and familiarity with medical terminology are a plus.
