Description:
Orchestrate Consulting Group is seeking a dedicated Scheduler to join the YM CARE Center team. This role supports the coordination of patient appointments and provider schedules to ensure smooth clinic operations and enhance patient care. Key Responsibilities:
• Answer and evaluate incoming calls, directing them based on urgency and need.
• Schedule patient appointments, manage conflicts, and notify patients of changes or cancellations.
• Build and maintain provider master schedules and clinic calendars.
• Coordinate and schedule surgical procedures, including pre- and post-operative appointments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with billing processes.
Qualifications:
• Minimum four years of relevant work experience, including two years in a similar role, or an Associate degree with two years of experience.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
• Ability to manage high call volumes with sound judgment and professionalism.
• Proficiency in English, with strong grammar skills and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Proven record of reliability and exemplary attendance.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience scheduling in a high-volume healthcare call center or medical practice.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical record systems (EPIC preferred).
• Skilled in managing multi-line phone systems and call queues.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
