NMA (Neuromonitoring Associates) is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Scheduler to coordinate intraoperative neuromonitoring for surgical cases. This role involves handling scheduling requests from surgeons and hospitals through phone, email, and fax while ensuring accurate data entry and exceptional client service. Familiarity with medical terminology and prior medical field experience are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule daily and emergent surgical cases, including confirming next-day cases via check-in calls.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeon and hospital schedulers, adapting routines to their specific needs.
• Resolve client inquiries and document all interactions promptly and professionally.
• Enter scheduling data into Zinniax (IOM scheduling software) from multiple communication channels.
• Accurately input patient demographics, insurance information, and upload necessary documents.
• Obtain and verify missing patient details, insurance data, and History & Physicals (H&Ps) via phone, email, or fax.
• Learn and navigate multiple EMR systems to retrieve required documentation.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for scheduling and maintain accurate records of policies and preferences.
• Communicate detailed daily schedules to regional teams.
• Assess and manage current and future scheduling requirements.
• Triage urgent scheduling issues, such as add-ons or cancellations, escalating when necessary.
• Collaborate with other departments to collect information needed for authorization, billing, or claims processing.
• Perform occasional administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
