Description:
Crimson Education is seeking an expert SAT Tutor to provide one-on-one online tutoring for high school students aiming to improve their SAT scores. The role involves personalizing lesson plans, offering effective test-taking strategies, assigning practice work, and maintaining close communication with the student’s Crimson team to track progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized SAT instruction in Math, Reading, and Writing to help students achieve their target scores.
- Track and analyze student progress using the SAT practice test platform.
- Collaborate with the Crimson team and part-time tutors to ensure consistent student support.
- Provide constructive feedback and maintain engaging, effective tutoring sessions.
- Stay updated on changes to SAT exams and incorporate current test strategies into lessons.
Success Metrics:
- Students meet or exceed expected improvements on practice and official SAT tests (targeting 80% of expected improvement goals).
- Maintain regular, effective communication with students, parents, and Crimson colleagues.
- Positive feedback from students, parents, and internal teams.
Requirements:
- Official Digital SAT score in the 99th percentile (1530+).
- Strong knowledge of SAT content areas with awareness of recent updates.
- Ability to teach students from diverse regions and cultures.
- Experience with digital teaching platforms and collaborative online tutoring.
- Preferred: Knowledge of ACT or other standardized test preparation.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and student engagement skills.
