Description:
Rove Group is looking for a skilled Sales Engineer – Switchgear to join its team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in LV switchgear sales, technical proposal preparation, and client relationship management within the UAE electrical market.
The role requires handling sales activities, identifying new business opportunities, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring proposals meet UAE authority standards. Candidates with strong technical understanding and excellent negotiation skills are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sell LV switchgear panels to contractors, consultants, and developers.
• Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Review RFQs, technical drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate technical and commercial proposals.
• Coordinate with design and estimation teams for costing and submission requirements.
• Follow up on quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and successfully close sales.
• Ensure proposals comply with UAE authority standards including DEWA, ADQC, SEWA, and EWE requirements.
• Maintain sales reports, pipeline tracking, and market updates.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of UAE experience in LV switchgear sales is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE electrical market and authority requirements.
• Ability to understand technical drawings and project specifications.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Ability to join immediately is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.
• Fluent in English and Hindi is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of:
• LV switchgear systems and electrical panels.
• UAE electrical standards and authority requirements.
• Technical sales processes and client coordination.
