We’re Hiring: Safety Officer – UAE
EMIC Industries LLC is seeking a committed and skilled Safety Officer to join their team in Sharjah. This role focuses on maintaining high safety standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a safe work environment across all operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards
- Ensure adherence to UAE Labour Law and internal safety policies
- Lead safety training sessions, workshops, and emergency drills
- Promote a culture of safety awareness, accountability, and proactive risk management
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety practices and Occupational Health principles
- Experience in conducting accident investigations and preparing reports
- Skills in security and safety training for staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Relevant certifications in health and safety are an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline
