Safety Officer – Abu Dhabi
GK Global is seeking dedicated Safety Officers to join our team and help maintain a safe, healthy, and compliant work environment. We are currently hiring 30 professionals who are committed to championing workplace safety and ensuring adherence to all local and international regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and continuously monitor health & safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards.
- Recommend and implement preventive measures to mitigate workplace risks.
- Organize safety training sessions, drills, and awareness programs for employees.
- Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports, and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety standards and regulations.
Requirements:
- Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related engineering field (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical).
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent safety certification is required.
- 2–4 years of professional experience in a safety-related role; experience in oil & gas projects is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, best practices, and risk management.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be based in the UAE and ready to join immediately.
