Description:
A company in Dubai is looking for an experienced and dedicated Safety Engineer to join its team and support workplace safety operations. This role is suitable for professionals with strong HSE knowledge who can ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring HSE procedures, conducting site inspections, supporting risk assessments, maintaining safety documentation, and working closely with site teams, contractors, and management to improve overall safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions to maintain workplace safety.
• Support risk assessments and review method statements.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety meetings, and HSE awareness programs.
• Assist with incident and accident investigations and prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain accurate HSE documentation, records, and reports.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the workplace.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant HSE/Safety experience.
• NEBOSH certification is mandatory.
• Previous Dubai/UAE experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of:
• UAE HSE regulations and safety standards.
• Risk assessments and method statements.
• Permit to Work (PTW) procedures.
• Site inspections and safety procedures.
• HSE documentation and reporting.
• Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work effectively with site teams, contractors, and management.
