Description:
micro1 is currently hiring U.S.-based contributors for a specialized remote project focused on robotics motion data collection. This role is designed for individuals who can accurately capture high-quality motion and video data using smartphones to support the development of advanced machine learning systems for activity recognition.
The selected candidates will contribute to structured data collection tasks that help improve robotics intelligence and human motion understanding models. This is a detail-oriented role requiring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to strict technical guidelines.
📌 Key Responsibilities:
• Capture precise motion data using smartphone IMU sensors during assigned physical activities
• Record synchronized video footage to support and validate sensor-based datasets
• Follow strict technical protocols to ensure accuracy, labeling consistency, and data quality standards
• Submit a minimum of 10 hours of approved video data per week
• Ensure all submissions meet project specifications, including minimum video length requirements (at least 2 minutes per clip)
• Communicate effectively with the project team to clarify instructions and improve data collection quality
• Participate in device compatibility testing and AI-assisted onboarding interviews
• Deliver timely and reliable data outputs aligned with project milestones
